McKenzie Engineering Consultants is an engineering firm located in Brewster, Cape Cod, Massachusetts, specializing in Structural, Architectural, Civil and Environmental Engineering. We apply the highest level of attention to detail in our work to ensure projects can be easily permitted and constructed. We work closely with owners, architects, town officials, and contractors to assure all project objectives are met in a professional and timely fashion, according to regulations.
Mark A. McKenzie, P.E., is a Registered Professional Engineer in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. He is a member of several professional societies including the American Society of Civil Engineers and the International Code Council®.
Prior to starting McKenzie Engineering, Mark was with East Cape Engineering and became a principal of the firm in 1996. His work at East Cape Engineering included being responsible for all structural, water supply, and environmental projects, working and consulting with municipalities, business and home owners, architects, and builders all across the Cape and Islands.
Mark graduated from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. Upon his commissioning into the United States Air Force (USAF) he studied Bio Environmental Engineering at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine. He worked for the Department of Defense as an Environmental Engineer supervising the environmental clean up and closure of Pease Air Force Base in New Hampshire—a project valued at over $200,000,000.
